Sports Banquet The final salute to the 1986 Bishop Clor- man High School Football Team took place at the Palace Station Hotel and Casino on February 11, 1987. Recognized at the event were the players and coaches of the South- ern Zone Champion Gaels. L.A. Raider All- pro Todd Christensen was the guest speaker. Izzy Marion acted as Master of Ceremonies, and did a fine job of introducing the coaches for their individual presentations. Virginia Cunningham also recognized the Varsity Cheerleaders. Senior Wide-receiver Marty Cordova was named the team's Most Valu- able Player. Most Valuable Offensive Player went to Quarterback Kenneth Windham. Bert Ezor was named Most Valuable Defen- sive Player. Kicker Steve Crevoiserat won the Special Teams award, and Senior Lor- enzo Fertitta was named Most Inspirational. Special Events 75

Spring Fling This year BGHS went back to the old tradition of having Spring Fling honor the entire Gorman communi- ty. The event was held as a kick-off to the construction of the new building.
