On February 24th, 1987 the 5th Annual Knight of the Gael was held at the Palace Station Hotel and Casino. The event was held in honor of Mr. and Mrs. George Gerringer. They were chosen as honorees because of their generous contributions to Bishop Gorman High School. Through the years George and Kim have gone out of their way to help in various ways. From heading the Booster Club to decorating the Gym for Home- comin . Kim and Geor e are always there to lens a helping ham? Congressman james Bilbray declared an Act of Congress in Washington D.C. also February 24th, 1987 was declared George and Kim Gerringer Day in the State of Nevada, City of Las Vegas and County of Clark. This years dinnerfdance raised over S30,000.000. These monies will be used for construction of the new building which will begin in the summer.
