A , WW, 14 The National Honor Society is a prestigious organization whose members display the outstanding qualities of leadership, character, scholarship, and service. A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 as well as ade- quate ratings by each student's teachers are among the require- ments for membership. This year the Bishop Gorman High School chapter of the National Honor Society was proud to welcome sixty new mem- bers during the Induction Ceremony in November. Like the current mem- bers, these were expected to contri- bute at least twenty hours of volun- teer service within the school or Las Vegas community, and to uphold the high standards of the Society. Among the activities in which the school received enthusiastic assis- tance by NHS members were Par- ents' Night, Career Day, and the Cl Knight of the Gael.
