. Basketball The 1986-87 city championship trophy belongs to our own Bishop Gorman High School junior Varsity Team. Head coach Henry Girardi's team raced through their l.V. sched- ule with only one loss. Led by team scoring leader Pat Byrnes, at an aver- age of 18.8 points per game, the team was almost unbeateable. Next years Varsity team should be strong as many of the cagers advance up to the varsity level.
