This years Women's Golf Team had an outstanding year under the direction of Coach Rob Goodrich. The team was leady by Sophomore Micki Welch, who won Medalist Honors on many occasions. The team played their home matches on the short but demanding Tropicana Country Club Course. With Kerri Bishop being the only senior on the team, Coach Goodrich quoted, If all the younger girls re- turn, we should have the nucleus for a good team next year. Zone And Conference in y Champions The Varsity Basketball team had a successful season capturing both the Sunset Division and Southern Zone AAA Championships. They ended with a fantastic 24-8 overall record. Several players recieved special rec- ognition: Matt Othick was selected as the M.V.P. of the Sunset Division and the Southern AAA Conference, Paul Ernst and Kevin Soares both made Second Team All Sunset Divi- sion. First year head coach Michael Adras was selected Coach of the Year.
