Math — A Graphic Pleasure Chalk in hand, calculators by their side this year ' s Math Department strove to bring the understanding of numbers to their students. With the cry of Front row to the board, the Math teachers covered everything from polynomials to Newton ' s third law. Sr. Renee, a newcomer, taught Sen- iors Analytic Geometry and Analysis of Functions. Sr. Denis and Dr. Ruiz taught Freshmen Algebra while Mrs. Hinkle and Mr. Meyer made shapes a little clearer to their Sophomore Ge- ometry classes. Mr. Crall taught Ele- mentary Functions. Trig, and Alge- bra and Trig. All these teachers combined to make Math both fun and interesting to their students. And even if they don ' t know how to integrate dx into dy, at least they can hold the chalk so it doesn ' t screech on the board. Joe Bonahoom is obviously thinking of something better than Algebra and Trig. Tom, Mr. Crall ' s at the front of the room. Dr. Ruiz can still smile after working all these Algebra problems on the board. 22 ACA
