Miss Alina Sachnowska files cards as she assists in the school library. Health and safety students are in Miss Alina's classes. Sister M. Susan brings in the 163 members of the Dwenger Chorus on the downbeat of her baton. Head of the music department, Sister directs the school's orchestra. History, health and safety, and general mu- sic classes are taught by Sister, who is also moderator of the Sodality. Like Mother I-Iubbard's cupboard, the one in the publications' dark room is bare. Sister M. Xavier, in charge of the school paper and memory book, hopes to improve conditions. Sister teaches English, Latin, and history and is moderator of the CSMC. 13

The Home and School Association is the parent of all other adult organizations formed at Bishop Dwenger. Here with Father Krson and Sister Hedwigis, its officers study suggestions from I-lASA's diocesan office. Left to right the officers are Nlrs. Carol Heyn, secretaryg Cletus Junk, vice-presidentg Paul Schirmeyer, treasurerg Terry Coonan, president. Adults backed school Treasurer Mrs. John Dietsch, Secretary Mrs. Richard Forbing, President Mrs. Frederick Bosler, and Vice- President Mrs. Clarence Harrington conceive the many ideas that make the Mothers' Club active. The Men's Club provides primarily for the athletic program at Dwenger. Its officers include Hubert Mettler, treasurerg James Shields, vice-presidentg Russell Scudder, presi- dentg Norman Loney, secretary. They are shown with Father John Gillig, moderator of the organiza- tion.
