We applaud your success 1 . ■• ' SB Sophomore Regina Airey is quite remarka- ble 1 With her scholastic qualifications, she has not only been a member of NJHS but has been elected President two years in a row. Exhibiting more of her leadership qualities, Regina has acted as the Latin Club Secretary for two years. In the field of athletics, Regina rates high. She has played on the J V. Volleyball Team for two years and is co-captain this year; she is a member of GAA. When it comes to Fine Arts, Regina is a leading lady. She has been in the Drama Club two years and has been chosen to play one of the female leads in this year ' s musical. She also plays the flute Phillip Lopez is a Sophomore heading for nothing but success. Outstanding academic performance, is the leading force in Phillip ' s prosperity here at Amat. Phillip is a man of thought, serious and humorous, as well. Yes, Phillip is a connoisseur of wit being a collector and avid reader of comic books Phillip besides all this, finds time to play many sports and quite successfully. Karen Warner, a Junior, has proved to be an asset to Amat in many ways. She has been a member of the Honor Society for 3 years and for the past two years has taken on the respon- sibility and leadership of being secretary of CSF. Karen has been involved with the Latin Club and also the GAA since her Freshman year. As a natural leader, Karen is doing an excellent job as a Homeroom President this year. To add to all these accomplishments, Karen can play the piano and is an ace Softball player 1 Junior Joe Parra is the epitome of the athletes of Amat. Because of his academic excellence he has been a part of NJHS and a member of CSF also. For the last three years Amat ' s foot- ball program has been aided by Joe Parra, the offensive guard. As a Junior Joe played his first year on the Varsity team and proved a powerful player. In his spare time, Joe likes to socialize with his many friends and keep up with the las- test sounds Time Out 103
