Directing the girls at Alemony High School ore the Sisters of St. Joseph of Corondelet who troce their origin to the community founded in 1650 ot Le Puy, Frcince, by Bishop Henry de Moupos ond Father John Medciille, SJ. During the French Revolution the sisters were forced to disbond, but 18 yeors loter, in 1807, the community was refounded by Mother St. John Fontbonne.
