They sponsored many events, such as the pie eating contest. CID Pictured is Nancy Blanchfield coming up for air during the three minutes allowed to scarfdown. Rhonda Roberts, a student at BHS, suffered from a bone disease. The student council held a meeting OJ to approve the benefit dance for Rhonda to help in financial needs. Working on a staff was not an easy task but an undertaking that required dedication and many hours of hard work. The Chronicle staff doubled as members of the Cuprite staff. thus having twice the amount of assignments to do in one period. 64 Student Life CID After school some staffers transferred layouts for the paper deadline at the Gazette, QD while other class members were out selling Puma jerseys to raise funds for the yearboo expenses. The busy atmospher of room 308 was felt extremel by the lone photographer, C35 Tony Corona, as well as the over-worked editors, C45 Lori Pilcher and Tina Gonzales.
