Spirit, participation and enthusiasm were parts of all sophomores. They experienced more clubs, tried out for varsity as well as junior varsity sports, and participated in more school activities. Looking into their future years left at BHS, the Sophomore Class started to raise money for their Junior-Senior Prom and their senior trip. They wanted to start early with their fund raising .for their future planning. During football season, the sophomores won the spiri stick four times for their exuberance.

lph Nicolay points out a humorous picture to Matt Dugie. Ml! Discipline needed io improve grades Striving for better grades, the sophomores put more effort into their schoolwork. Last year I goofed around a lot and didn't do as good as I wanted so this year I am trying harder so I can get better grades! commented Mike Castellano. But getting good grades took great discipline. The sophomores, who were more active than in their freshman year, found it harder to find time to improve their grades. This year I am more active and sometimes I have a game to cheer for and it's harder to keep up with all my homework, so I lust had to try harder to keep my grades up, commented sophomore class vice-president Tammy Knipp. And by disciplining themselves the sophomores found their grades did improve.
