Urias, Gonzales devoted to hi h school athletics Such a wide variety, how do they ever choose? Many questions like this are asked after the election of Senior Mosts. . It was evident, however, Tomas Urias and Tina Gonzales would be the duo voted Most Athletic. Although Urias dropped track during his freshman year, he became active in football. basketball, track, and cross country for the remainder of his high school years. Both athletes agreed they would like to see a higher budget for the sports department. Gonzales was quick to credit Mona Shake for her athletic skills in volleyball and basketball, while Mr. Corrin helped her when she .4-.. was younger with tennis. Mona taught me a lot and it was more than just the sport. She stressed how important it was to maintain sportmanship and keep your cool. Looking back, Gonzales felt her senior year was the most profitable because she understood the coaches' :point of view better. In the future, this outstanding athlete plans to study social work and possibly become a referee during her spare time. Urias, on the other hand, is hoping to receive a scholarship to Pima Community College for high jumping. There he will study architecture. Seniors 2l
