When asked how else the team improved, Coach Lewinski stated, There was a big improvement over last year because we really had good teamwork. Teamwork seemed to be the key factor because without it the girls usually failed. Lewinski went on to say, We gave a lot of teams good competition, l really enjoyed watching the team play! The biggest highlight of the season was beating their arch- rivals, the Douglas Bulldogs. Margo Dietrich stated, lt felt really great beating Douglas in the opening game and again later on in the season.
