Experience determines the future Easing down the road, the teachers in the Fine Arts Department strove for success in all of their projects. Remembering the County Fair of '79, Mr. Turner's Art class put forth much effort to finish and enter their various pieces of art in the '80 Fair hoping to be awarded for their efforts. One of the biggest achievements came from Rhonda Roberts. Despite her illness she entered two homemade stuffed animals getting a lst for a horse and 2nd for a lamb. A new face to the system was choir director Mr. Borgeson. Being new he had to go by his own experiences to continue the traditional Vespers at Christmastime as well as other concerts that the choirs performed. Mr. McKale continued to guide his beginning photography classes as well as his advanced classes into the world of good photography, reviewing basics as well as continuing on to new and better things. Don Russell entered a silhouette lron Man picture in the '80 Fair coming home with a lst place award. Mr. Roberts and his band, using experiences from years before, worked hard to perform at pep assemblies, football games, and their annual Spring Concert. Looking back into time and using past experiences to better their future, all of the Fine Arts teachers saw another year come and go to be used as another reference as we move on. 98 Faculty Don Russell pauses from his artwork to smile for the camera. Future professionals begin by singing their way to stardom during choir class. Annette Duran enters the land of makc believe as she draws the run through fo: Homecoming during Art class. 'te 4' .
