Music The Birmingham Conservatory of Music since 1940 has been an integral part of Birmingham-Southern College. It is a member of the National Associa- tion of Schools of Music and has many outstanding persons on its faculty. Two degrees are offered by the Conservatory — A Bachelor of Music degree and a Bachelor of Music Education degree.
