vJ OR THIS ANNUAL TO ATTEMPT TO EXPRESS THE FEELING AMONG THE STUDENTS CONCERNING OUR PRESIDENT ' S LEAVING WOULD BE IMPERTINENCE. LET US SAY THEN THAT FORGETTING HIS FINE WORK IN LIFTING BIRMINGHAM-SOUTHERN TO ITS PRESENT STANDING, AND DISREGARDING HIS EFFORTS THAT HAVE IN- CREASED THE STUDENT BODY OVER THREEFOLD, AND EVEN PASSING BY THE CAPABILITIES THAT GUIDED US SO WELL THROUGH THE DEPRESSION YEARS, THERE IS A FEELING AMONG HIS STUDENTS WHICH WE CAN ONLY ANNOUNCE. . . EACH OF US REALIZES A PERSONAL LOSS, BUT WITH IT THERE COMES DELIGHT IN THIS FURTHER RECOGNITION OF OUR LEADER.
