At camp at California State University Long Beach last summer the squad took home every trophy the camp offered not bad eh? Besides cheering for Birmingham's football, basket- ball, baseball, cross-country, track, and swim teams, they also cheered at special basketball games featuring the DJ's of Kl00 radio station, the cast of 6'The Chicken Chronicles, the Los Angeles Dodgers, and the cast of Happy Daysf' They also serve as hostesses at all school sponsored functions. Head Varsity Songleader is Sherry Vess, and head Bee is Arie Yuster. So, you can thank Tree, Shrub, and the rest of the girls for one of the best squads ever. I Ill , Q 5 -ffl' . ' Lg!! .
