Histor History is the biography of the peoples of the world. The early development of civilization is taken up by Central sophomores when they study the growth of mankind through its many troubled years. Juniors study a subject closer to all of us-the life story of the United States. This includes the growth of our country and its people: the wars and prob- lems our forefathers faced to make America what it is today. Seniors continue to learn American his- tory and also study current events. The history teachers, headed by Miss Mary Gillespie, endeavor to show students how history can increase world unity through greater understanding, and how knowl- edge of this great land of ours can make us better citizens. :STORY

This is not acci- dental, but due to the conscientious and ellicient work of our crew of custodians. We are grateful to these gentlemen who care for the heating and illumination of our buildings and maintain our school in the peak of condition.
