The faculty members have given their all, upatience, time, advice and helpfulness to the students. In general their attitudes have been wonderful. When their teaching days are over we wish them all a con- tinued life that will be rich and full of happiness. They held their election and chose some very outstanding and capable officers. - Under their leadership the juniors planned and put over many clever ideas, which were shown in their assemblies, parties, and on the big night of their Junior Prom. - The days they have spent together laughing, planning, and work- ing together have now come to an end, but with the experience and confidence they gained as ajunior Class, we wish them continued suc- cess next year as Seniors. They have been eagerly growing up. Many of the students have gone on their first date, to their first real school dance, or began noticing each other Rmr the first time. They have begun to learn the value of working together as classes and really enjoying it. This they have proven by putting over their successliuljunior High dance, Lover's Lane. U0 Q- Although the football team of 1953 did not win all their games, they won the hearts ofspectators with their outstanding conduct and sports- manship on the field. We all know the team always gave their best and under the capable supervision of Coach Santisteven we are proud to have seen this team represent the Bingham High School. 7 ,f-iw! The team suffered, but won defeat in league play, to Murray High. It has been a great year for the mighty Bing- ham Miners. They brought the school honor by winning Hrst place in the Jordan Division, and then going on to the tournament. Many con- sidered our team the best in the state and would probably have proved this, except for the first round overtime loss in the hands of a good Span- ish Fork crew, with a score of 47-45. But the next three nights they came back and played like the champions they were, by defeat- ing Union, Park City, and Parowan in succession to cop the Consolation Championship.
