The year began wifh a slumber parfy held af fhe Highland Boy Communify House. This was very successful. Before refiring for fhe nighf fhe girls marched around fhe hall in a paiama parade. From among fhe differenf array of colors and sfyles a pair of very novel paiamas were chosen and a prize was awarded fhe owner. The Girls' club dance, which was held fhe lasf of March, was carried ouf in fhe idea of a barn dance. Wifh pigs, chickens, cows, horses, goafs and ofher animals fhe gym was fransformed info a reasonable facsimile of a barn. Climax of fhe year was a 'rea held in honor of fhe Senior members. Each senior was presenfed a small giff as a foken of remembrance. The officers and members would like fo fhank fheir advisor, Miss Vern Baer, for her splendid work in making fhis year one fo remember.

Each year fhe club achieves somefhing new, differenf, and inferesfing in fhe field of dancing. This year fhe Charlesfon was infro- duced fo fhe class, along wifh Folk, Modern, ballef, round, and Toe dancing. The enfire class showed greaf inferesf fhroughouf fhe year. The fhird year dance sfudenfs have worked very hard in choregraphing and direcfing fheir dances while fhe resf of fhe class composed ofher dances fo- gefher. The high lighfs of fhe year included: round and folk dances presenfed fo fhe public during half-fime af each home baslcefball game, and fhe annual Dance concerf presenfed April 27, fo fhe sfu- denf body and public, which showed fhe many hours of worlc puf info dances and cosfumes. The affair proved fo be very successful.
