PEECH MR. FINGERLE Through hard work and earnesl en- deavor 'rhe Speech Classes of I950-5I have made +his year a very successful one. Beginning +he Speech Classes' calen- dar was +he annual presenfafion of +he School Play. Hard work and 'lime wenf in+o lhe making of 'lhe play, buf in +he presenla- Hon i+ could be nofed +ha+ fhe speech class and all associa+ed wi+h if had been under professional guidance. Various ofher acfivifies parficiparecl in by fhese classes were: refold slories, oralions, debales, exfemporanous speak- ing, phoenelics, radio speaking, and pan- lomimes. The resulfs of fhese acfivifies were presenlecl in +he regional speech meel held here af Bingham High School on March 201'h. Winners from 'rhe regional meei' represen+ed Bingham High in fhe S+a+e meels held a+ +he Universily of Ufah and 'rhe Brigham Young Universify on March 30-3I and April I3-I4 re- speclively. MR. BISHOP Q f l The arf classes +his year, under lheir newly acquired supervisor, Mr. Bishop, were an energefic, indus+rious group of s+uden1's. They pleased no'r only Them- selves and +heir +eacher, bu+ also +he en- fire school wifh fheir accomplishmen'rs of pos'rers, aiding in adverfising ihrough- ou1 rhe school, and various ofher ar+icles of helpful assis+ance 'ro 'I'he s'ruden+ body. The Senior High arf group, under fhe rifle of Commercial Ari Depar1'men'r, was especially helpful as +heir diligenf work aided so much in +he school's vari- ous ac+ivi+ies such as +he Candlelighi' Service presen+a+ion, fhe school play, and decoraiing of o+her sor'rs for school assemblies. Seniors and Juniors alike welcomed fhe valuable aid rendered +hem in fheir decora+ing of fhe Hop and Prom.
