Various classes, rang- ing from fhe seven+h grade 'rhrough fhe +welH'h, all masfered Iheir appropria+e segregaled courses. The seven1'h grade was in'rroduced +o advanced s+udies, while +he 'rwelf1'h grade was faced wi+h +ha+ course preceding college work. Also, in many English classes +he sub- iecl' of li+era+ure was involved. Various books of educafional liferary value were read and enioyed by 'rhe in1'eres+ed s'ru- denfs. One cannol' fhink of English wifhoul' involving poefry, which is only logical because of i'rs close connecfion. Mosl' classes eifher sfudied some form of po- e+ry, or consfrucfed +heir own verses.
