Room Ulepresentcltives OFFICERS Chairman Ralph Newman Vice Chairman lim Corning Secretary Treasurer Iudy Campbell Room representatives are elected from each of the various rooms by their classmates to represent the room in all the problems hat come up during the year lh1s school year has had a number of maJor issues that confronted the represen tatives Perhaps the greatest controversy of the year was in reference to the cafeteria A student strike was started and the representatives met with Mr I Ragsdale to dis cuss the grievance of the strikers After a great deal of work the situation was remedied to the satisfaction of all Another problem this group had to deal with was student behavior in assemblies RGQUIIIIIQ delicate handling 1t seemed for a time that this problem had the represen tatrves at a standstill yet in a short time that was solved also Throughout the year this group was called upon to aid 1n ticket sales for various This is the first year that the B H S Student Council has functioned as it was or ganrzed during the second semester of last year and the representatives Worked with them during this year It also is the duty of this body to consider amendments to the Student Council constitution and to pass or kill them During this term they voted in favor of the first amendment to the constitution having to do with the term of officers Ralph Newman Judy Campbell and Jlm Cornmg J Ragsdale Addresslng Room Representatives PAGE TWENTY ONE 4 - A - A , Q affairs, and, they always seemed Willing to give their help for the benefit of the school. i 'S ff f X I A I , l ' A l YQ!
