' Surely, in this thought is one of the keys to our present civilization-to our well-being and happiness-that is, tolerance. The exchange of ideas and a tolerant consideration of those of other individuals is a part of the foundation of our modern life. Moreover, this is equally as true of the community of individuals we are pleased to call Billings High as it is of any city or nation. What more largely than a tolerant consideration of the opinions of others, for the rights and interests of others, has helped bring Billings high to its present rank? Tolerance, based upon understanding, plays an important part in our success. May we carry this thought with us today, tomorrow, and always for the greatcrp happiness of ourselves and our associates.
