' Surely, in this thought is one of the keys to our present civilization-to our well-being and happiness-that is, tolerance. The exchange of ideas and a tolerant consideration of those of other individuals is a part of the foundation of our modern life. Moreover, this is equally as true of the community of individuals we are pleased to call Billings High as it is of any city or nation. What more largely than a tolerant consideration of the opinions of others, for the rights and interests of others, has helped bring Billings high to its present rank? Tolerance, based upon understanding, plays an important part in our success. May we carry this thought with us today, tomorrow, and always for the greatcrp happiness of ourselves and our associates. I like to see a man so live that the place from which he comes is proud of him. Seniors, I know you already fulfill the first statement. The second depends entirely upon what you do in the future. The education of the class of 1928 will just be fairly started on June 1. You have been loyal to your schoolg be as loyal to yourself during the remainder of your life. We, faculty and stud- ent body, will remain on the job to maintain Billings high school as a place from which anyone may be proud to come.
