the time of our lives Time flies. Seniors wonder where their high school years went. Examinations were passed and failed. Prayers were said and not said. Football games were won and lost. These things fade in importance and only one question stands out: Have I grown mentally, spiritually, physically? RAMBLER 1966 will recall to us this Time of Our Lives. It will bring to mind the times we prayed, we studied, we cheered. Do you remember.. . Morose Mondays and flamboyant Fridays. . . Bursting out of class - room doors. .. Daydreaming out of sunny windows... Hurried hellos between classes... The simplicity of a pre- viously obscured sub- ject. .. Giggling groups moving in mass down halls. . . Comfortable touch of an old book.. . The tight knot under your ribs when the score is close. . . Satisfaction of a test stud- ied for... Smell of wet coats on a musty day.. . Clang of lockers.. .

The proudest time of tire scholastic year is when those of outstanding intellectual promise and achievement are honored. This year, the National Merit Scholarship Examination singled out for recognition Dave Robertson, Pam Marron, Sharon Solomon, Margaret Garcia, Barb Dugan, Janelle Frost, Marie Carroll and Kathy Campau as ranking in the top two percent of all seniors taking the test. Highest honors went to Margaret Garcia (lower left) and Kathy Campau (lower right) who placed in the upper two-thirds of one percent of the participants.
