Catch The spirit. The realm ol' the gymnasium was per- meated with the hurrahs of spirited stu- dents. The atmosphere was alive and charged with the rival Powder Puff teams cheers For victory. Barely audible over the chaotic clamor were the voices ol' the fall sports cap- tains as they wished the football team good luck in their final contest ofthe season. This new tradition ofthe sports captains addressing the crowd was a welcomed change, and kept the stu- dents enthusied. The marching band put on a spectacle that showed their support of the foot- ball team and helped the crowd to get inuolued with the activities. The crow d exploded w hen liour students garbed in Iloureseent orange skiing hats and Risky Business sun glasses llew to the podium with the traditional En- tershu t lielmslord sign, Ns the pandemonium came to an end tl'ieut':i'1. ol the school was evident. ERICA O., Sun ol T , ' t if Yo 'hz Q The weather was perfect the fans were ecstatlc and the players were ready The settung was perfect for a second stralght Bnllerlca victory over Chelmsford We were well on our way to the vlctory by totally dommatmg the fnrst half The Bnllerrca offense marched authorntlvely down the fleld to pump a brg fnrst quarter touchdown rn and take a 7 0 lead On the follownng knckoff the hard hlttmg Brllerrca special teams caused a bug fumble but recovered to set up yet another touchdown Chelmsford began movmg the ball late ln the frrst half but the pumsh mg Bnllernca defense rose to the occasnon by causmg a late second quarter fumble and securmg a I4 O lead Into halftime ln the second half both teams came out hard they all played their hearts out Unfortunately despite a hard effort from the Bxllerlca squad Chelmsford scored once late ln the thrrd and again rn the forth quarter Brllerrca players continued grvmg everythmg they had untrl the fnnal seconds only to fall one ponnt short by a score of I5 I4 1 ' n . . . . . - v ' . .
