Sometimes we have run across what seemed like unsurmountable crises, but always There has been someone to help us-a fellow student or a teacher. During our senior year in our new high school, we have shared friend- ships, likes, dislikes, dances, parties, sports, and innumerable other things for which we are thankful. Now as we face an unknown future, O God, may we take with us the knowledge acquired from our high school experiences. May we help others as we have been helped. Help us to be thankful for our blessings, and have strength and courage when we have problems to face, the knowledge that with faith in God we can do all things. In the name of our Lord, Amen. We are really proud of our girls this year. They placed second in the Walpole Cheerleading Tournament against very stiff competition. The first dance in our new school was given by the cheerleaders with Dave Maynard as the disc jockey. The dance was a huge success, with the girls giving a fine exhibition of their new cheers for the year. The Cheerleaders' uniforms were dark green princess style trimmed with white. Cute white beanies and white boots completed the outfits. The annual football rally was held in the new auditorium, and the cheerleaders stirred up more school spirit than we've seen in a long while. Our head cheerleader, Anne O'Brien, was ably supported by: Molly Gleason, Ellen O'Neill, Pat Turner, Pat Treworgy, Judi McNulty, Janice Lucia, Barbara Guptill, Carole Waitkus, Joyce Lee, Barbara McGurn, Jean Porter, Ruth Desrosiers, and Joanne Albertini as manager.
