Homecoming Preparations Homecoming preparations began early. All the different organi- zations worked many hours to prepare their floats. The Student Council sponsored most of the Homecoming activities. Float com- petition, Queen elections, parade, half-time activities, dances, and the contacting of the Ex's were some of the various activities which took much preparation by the B.S.H.S. student body. THE HOMEMAKING TEACHERS pitched in to help THE ENTHUSIASTIC SENIOR CLASS seems to have stuffed a Senior member, Cheryl Colclazer in the float. KEY Ea, - ff ,, ? 4P.. ,fe I. Drama Department Presents a Supper Theatre Production A PORTRAIT OF NELSON HOLIDAY, JR. was cast from members of the drama class. Members of the drama class cast were: Randy Morgan as Nelson Holiday, Ir.g Diana Landrum as Mrs. Holidayg Barry Knocke as jackie Phillipsg Sharon Swim as jenniferg Cindy Dittrich as Katherineg Kay Stephens as Miggieg Carl Van Fleet as Burns Russellg and Wfayne Murphy as Travis Arnold. The Drama Department presented two one-act plays November 9. The plays ANTIC SPRING and A PORTRAIT OF NELSON HOLIDAY, JR. both written by Robert Nail. ANTIC SPRING is cast from members of the Court Iesters. Members of the cast were: janet Perry as Gingerg Kerry Gunnels as Robertg Elizabeth Lipscomb as Gwendolyng Charles Kimble as Samg Susan Boyd as Blos- somg and Kent Fish as Elbert. n .lm . Public Presented New School .NJA , F41 V V f fig I .,ee , GARY HUGHES, Mike Alexander, Lyfm Cauley, and MARTHA JORDAN distributes the CORRAL to visitors. Gary Hines experiment with the computer. Open House was November 12 at Big Spring High School. There was a dedication program with various school officials speaking and the band and choir performing. The public toured the new school building that afternoon. Some of the outstanding features about the school are the computer system and the planetaritun. MRS.
