LATI CLUB Latin Club Holds Annual Roman Banquet This Sprlng The Latin Club centers its activities toward one big event per year, a Roman-style ban quet. Wearing self-designed Roman attire the students dine in an atmosphere similar to the festivals of Caesar's reign. Each week, in the classroom, a different display shows the many ways in which Latin is usedin everyday life. Christmas Pinanta Traditional Spanish Club Celebration Parties, gay music, and surprises all combine to make the Spanish Club i Q 'j a more enjoyable club in which to be ' ll Q l a member. The traditional pinata at Christmas time was accompanied with candy, and Spanish carols. This year the third year students ventured to Monterrey, Mexico, for a most exciting trip. Yearly officers are elected by the club. Each day there is dictation .ind tran- scription from the lessons. Typing is included as part of the study. The Shorthand Club has various activities including a luncheon which was attended this year.
