The h1ghl1ghts of the Christmas Formal was the Coronation of the favorites and the school beauty Honor were Opal Hancock Johnny .Tanak Julie Rainwater Charles Johnson, Eunice Freeman, Bobby Fuller I Robison, and Bobby Overrnan. The S pa ni s h Club observed Christmas with a pinata in keeping with the custom of the country which they are studying. Wendel B r o W n, Jimmy Simrnons, I s a b el Holguin, Josephine Fie r ro, Royce Rainey, Barbara Coffee, and Carolyn Miller seem to be en- joying the treats thatthey got from the pinata. 18 Congressman Mahon was cordially wel- comed by Superintendent Blankenship and the School secretary, Mrs. Harrington when he came to speak to the student body, December 15.
