OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT The Operations Department is composed of Ol Division and OE Division. Ol Division is manned entirely by Radarmen trained to utilize the ship's combat systems for Anti-Air Warfare missions. Additionally, the radarmen are the ship's experts on task force operations. A few select radarmen are qualified air-controllers, capable of rendering positive control and advisory control of combat air patrol and strike aircraft. OE Division is manned by Electronic Warfare Technicians, Electronics Technicians, and Data Systems Technicians program the ship's tactical data systems and computer as well as maintaining and repairing its complex electronic gear. Elec- tronics Technicians maintain and repair all communications equipment and radars. LCDR W. E.
