The rank and file of CR division are Radio men - not the r though Today's Morse-code sending variety of yesteryea , . radioman is a highly skilled teletype operator, well-versed in high speed communications procedures and equipment. During the deployment every radioman was taxed to his limit handling the immense volume of message traffic. ln July ' a es. alone, BIDDLE sent or received over 5000 mess g BlDDLE's Signalmen - CS division - were probably the best-tanned men of the crew.
