Captain Maylon T. Scott, USN BIDDLE is Captain Scott's fourth command. In previous years, he was Commander of Destroyer Division Twenty-Two and skipper of the Destroyer Leader MITSCHER and the Destroyer Escort OTTERSTETTER. Captain Scott also served as Chief of Staff for Commander, Cruiser-Destroyer Flotilla Two. In 1963 he was on the staff of the Chief of Naval Personnel's Plans and Policy Division. ln 1964, Captain Scott was graduated from the Naval War College and George Washington University with a Master's Degree in Foreign Affairs. ,Q In 1943, Captain Scott was graduated from the' Naval Academy, class of 1944. During WW Il, the Captain began his career aboard the Destroyer HULL and saw action at Wake Island, Guam, Saipan and Tinian. In between then and now, Captain Scott also served aboard USS ORLECK fDD886J, USS CURTISS QAV-4j, and was Executive Officer of USS BEGOR QAPD 1277 and USS MARSH QDE 6993. In his rare moments of idle time, the Captain plays golf, tennis, squash and even Monopoly. He is a fierce -competitor in each. Late in the night, he corresponds with friends and associates all over the world. And when he has guests for dinner, he always says the Grace.
