Everyday, the Radiomen and Signal- men of the Communications COCD Divi- sion handle hundreds of rapid and se- cure radio and visual communications vital to executing BIDDLE's Fleet oper- ations requirements, along with mes- sage and telegram traffic to and from loved ones. Evaluating information gathered from the ship's air and surface search radars plus data from other ships' ra- dars is the job of the Operational Intel- ligence QOD Division's Operations Spe- cialists, who formulate operational and tactical E plans Anfor, the commanding program operate, maintain and repair the computers, consoles and other digi- tal equipment comprising BIDDLE's Naval Tactical Data System. Repairing and maintaining the ship's communications, navigation and air and surface search radars are the Elec- tronics Technicians of the Electronics QOEJ Division, who also repair and cali- brate general purpose electronic test equipment.
