Torch Receives Highest Honors Once again, the Torch staff wrote another fine chapter in Bexley history. Covering everything from the Board of Education to the field hockey team, the paper brought home the All-American rating from the National Scholastic Press Association and a Medalist rating from the Columbia Press Association both of which are the highest honors in high school journalism. Torch writers and photographers also nabbed individual awards from Kent State University, Quill and Scroll, High School Press Club of Central Ohio, and Columbia Press Association.
