J ACTIVITIES Editor: Alicia Eckley Wendy Steele UNDERCLASSMEN Editor: Heidi Johnston Debbie Stone SPORTS Editor: Beth Skilken Suzie Melmed Dan Setnar FACULTY Editor: Barry Mentser Cathy Tanenbaum TYPING Editor: Tammy Epperson Tana Frank BUSINESS Editor: Anna Greenberg Beth Mindlin Lani Knight Randi Mellman Linda Bowman After having been intimately involved with the BEXLEO for the past twelve months, we send in the last pages with mixed emotions — a combination of sadness, elation, and overall satisfaction. The 1976 BEXLEO is now completed, the product of the hard work, creativity, and cooperation of some 30-odd individuals. These people have pooled their ideas to make a unique and exciting yearbook. To recognize their efforts, we would like to take this opportunity to extend our thanks. Our appreciation goes to Van Ramsey of Bexley Galleries, who has generously donated his time, equipment, and professional expertise to enhance the photography in our yearbook. Another per- son whose assistance has been invaluable is Wes Mirick, our publisher’s representative. No matter how ridiculous our questions seemed, Wes was willing throughout the year to help us find the answers. Also, without Wes’ guid- ance, we would have never learned to make those snap decisions! And how could we not express our gratitude toward Miss Andrews? The time she put in above and beyond the call of duty has been greatly appreciated. Other special thanks go to our business manager Anna Greenberg and to our staff photographers, Dan Unkefer and Alan Mindlin. But most of all, we commend the entire staff on a job well done. Without their dedication and enthusiasm, this yearbook would not be. The color spectrum has been used in this year’s book to capture the spirit of ’76. We are able to follow the sequence of the colors as they lead us through our year at Bexley. Stretching from red to violet, nature always dis- plays these colors in the same order. Whether it be a rain- bow, a prism reflection, or a soap bubble, the colors of the spectrum, ever present, stand out because of their perfec- tion and uniqueness. Out of our respect for the logical beauty found in nature, we dedicate the 1976 BEXLEO to those who appreciate the natural world in which we live.
