This 'bears with it new responsibilities for which others in the past have attempted to prepare us. Last year in junior high school we had our own school yearbook and paper. The Cub and Beacon, the names of these two works respectively, taught us a great deal which will indeed profit us throughout our high school days. These situations may be ones that baffle or others that aid us to better understanding. Regardless. of their effect, We have gained fresh Wisdom and foresight which will indeed serve as an asset. Speaking of a guiding light, ours has brought us together from many different schools and areas. Some of us have come from far awayg others from schools very nearby like Montrose, Maryland, and Cassingham.

So far, we have begun to become a part of not only the work, but also the activities of Bexley hig-h school. One of our first projects as a class was that of constructing a float for Homecoming. Our theme was These Are My Jewels and even though it didnlt win, we had fun preparing it.
