.fgclminidfrafion From our administrators-Dr. E. D. Jarvis, who has been Superintendent for three and one-half years, and R. E. Kessler, who has resigned after twenty- three years as Principal to accept the new position of Director of Business Affairs for the Bexley schools-comes this greeting and message to our school community: The idea that education goes on for life is a relatively new conception of learning. True, formal teaching ceases after high school and college. But if formal education 'has served its greatest purpose people will use the reasoning and reasonable approach to a solution for their own and society's problems, instead of using prejudiced, pre-determined and emotional reactions as a basis for reaching decisions. Besides being the only safe way to strengthen our way of life here in America this is, at the same time, a happy and satisfying method of solving 1ife's problems. To seek knowledge, to use facts as a basis for opinion, to think things through, to persist until successful, to consider the importance of people over mere things-these are some of the devices to use in continued learning.
