Led by co- captains Joey Palazola and Mark Kravetz, the team compiled a 7-11 record. With only Palazola and 'Kravetz returning from last year's 17-1 NEC Champion team, they made a good showing in the tough conference. The team featured Kravetz, a senior, at first singles, a three year varsity player, Flon Gauthier, a senior who climbed from the number eight position last year to second singles this year. At third singles was senior J. Palazola, at first doubles was senior John Doane, a first year player, and a sophomore Mark Baker, who looked good in the intra-squad tournament at the begin- ginning of the yearg and at second doubles were juniors G. Garrity and T. Bethune. Mark Kravetz copped both MVP and Sportmanship Awards while Ron Gauthier walked away with the Most Improved Player Award. ,ff V :HJ n WG! fl i , l g Kx..z X. 23
