L I s 4 Y Junior Class History OFFICERS Nancy Kelly, Secretary, Robert Bradstreet, Treasurer, Duane Carbone, Vice Pres- ident, Bruce Sharp, President. In September, 1951, the Class of 1954- enthusiastically entered B.H.S. The group was organized as a class late in the fall term under the advisorship of Miss Watters, class mother, Miss Moore, and Mr. Maclnnis. The first class meeting was held for the purpose of hearing candidates for class offices. Those elected were: Duane Carbone, President, Bruce Sharp, Vice President, Nancy Kelly, Secretary, and Robert Brad- street, Treasurer. In December, the class was very successful in its Drama Night presentation entitled Double Date. Margie Bourque received the award for best actress. Much to everyone's sorrow, near the end of the school year, our advisor, Miss Moore, passed away. In the fall of 1952, the Junior Class held an election of officers in which Bruce Sharp was elected President, Duane Carbone, Vice President, Nancy Kelly, Secretary, and Robert Bradstreet, Treasurer. A new teacher, Miss Marilyn Spence, became an advisor. In the Drama Night competition, the Juniors presented a mystery entitled Concert in the Park, in which Warland Hersey was named best actor. On January 17, the Class held its first social event, the Winter Wing Ding, which was a social and financial success. The Juniors presented an excellent scholastic record, having more members on the Honor Roll during the second quarter than any other class. Several members of the class took an active part, either as performers or as backstage workers in the annual Talent Show held in February. The football team of 1952 elected three Juniors, Don Pinciaro, Jerry Dooling, and Dick Mattson, Co-captains of next year's squad. The Class of 1954- is now looking forward to a memorable Senior year. Sophomore Class History 1 I. A. -F .Y 1 X X, iii are OFFICERS David Bell, President, Robert LeBlanc, Vice President, James Chapman, Secretary, Norman Baker, Treasurer. SEPTEMBER 3 . . . DECEMBER 5 . . . all-out support for our class in its Drama Night presentation of the light comedy, ML Vincent. Norman Baker received the award for the best actor. Among the competent cast of players were Priscilla Monahan, Judith Williams, Cynthia Hussy, Marjorie Jones, Paul Longval, Norman Baker, William Appleton. DECEMBER . . . the class deeply sorrowed at the loss of one of their fellow class- mates, Lorraine LaBonte. Lorraine participated in many of the girls' sports at B.H.S. and was well liked by the whole school. JUNE . . . closing of the school year for our summer vacation.
