ARCHITECTS A Il ENGINEERS As Auxiliary Bishop of Philadelphia, Bishop McShea administered Confirmation in Holy Rosary Church, Bethle- hem, one of the one hundred fifty parishes now under his care as Bishqp of Allentown. E His Excellency, The Most Reverend Francis J. Furey, D.D. and His Excellency, The Most Reverend Cletus J. Benjamin, D.D., newly appointed Auxiliary Bishops of Philadelphia, shown during the ceremonies of their episcopal consecration in the Cathedral of SS. Peter and Paul, Philadelphia, on December 22, 1960. To the left of Bishop Furey is Bishop joseph McShea, Administrator of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, and to the right of Bishop Benjamin is Bishop J. Carroll McCormick, of the Diocese of Altoona- Johnstown, Bishop McShea and Bishop McCormick were co-consecrators, and Archbishop Egidio Vagnozzi, Apostolic Delegate to the United States was the consecrating prelate.
