Bethel jnw ' .Schull A5'nan.d, An important influence in Bethel Schools is the school board. The Board consists of seven members who are vitally interested in the activities and achieve- ments of the some thirteen hundred students who are enrolled in the Bethel Township Schools. As the aim of a democracy is to procure the most good for the greatest number of people, so the aim of the Board of Education is to procure the most good for the greatest number of students. In carrying on all its business, the Board tries to attain this goal. All members being parents, they are in a better position to understand and realize the problems which students encounter and the things which they need in order to lead a successful school life. The Board of Education cooperates With the administration, faculty, and students to make the Bethel Township School System as effective as possible. The present members of the board are H. B. Maits, Presidentg A. R. Reid, Vice-Presidentg W. H. Parmelee, Treasurerg G. A. Taylorg H. I. Wissingerg A. J. Freyvogelg and K. C. Carson, with Frank H. Jack as Secretary. VICTOR PEARSON Gilbert Parke He worked hard with the Bethel High Beef, And backed them in their victories. As a coach he is swell, And I think I should tell That he's really quite easy to please.
