The time has come, for closing books and long last looks must end And as we leave we know that we are leaving our best friend, A friend who taught us right from wrong, and weak from strong, That's a lot to learn. What! What can we give you in return, If you wanted the moon we would try to make a start But we would rather, you let give our hearts To Betsy with love. Those awkward years, have hurried by why did they fly away? Why is it children grow up to be people one day? What takes the place of climbing trees and dirty knees in the world outside? What is there for you we can buy? If you wanted the world we'd surround it with a wall, we'd scrawl These words with letters ten feet tall To Betsy with love. l When o heddmdsTer wriTes commenTs for o yedrbook To be published dlmosl eleven monThs dwoy, iT is ofTen difficulT To know whoT To soy in OcTober ThoT will sTill be Timely in AugusT. This undefeated season came to a dramatic end by a close victory over a strong Hyde club. Highlighting the season were two victories over Waynflete, New Hampton, and Hyde. Jim Gagnon, goaltender and most Improved player this year, played strongly all season as did seniors Ken Plante, Greg Nesman, and Ken Wasson, Junior attackman, Jack Spaulding, our most valuable player, led a strong team in scoring this year. Although ten seniors are graduating, six starters are returning with another year of experience behind them. Next year's team should continue to improve and with the enthusiasm shown this year there will be no doubt of another fine season.
