They also went on many educational tours. On Halloween the F, H. A, and F, F, A, co-sponsored a dance. In February the girls entered the cherry pie baking contest in Loveland. During April the girls sold Easter Lilies for the crippled children and in May they gave a style show and tea for the students' mothers. Being active in school and community has built the F. H. In November they played at a local teen dance sponsored by the American Legion and Auxiliary. X. The Berthoud Band has grown to over fifty members, and many new instruments have been added to make it a really' outstanding organi- zation ofthe school.
