I Bill Davies do hereby will and bequeath my tallness to Minerva Lee and the ability to get my homework done to Norman Deines I Bernard Myers, do hereby will and bequeath my friendliness to DOIIS Zoller and my beat up pau of shoes to Mr Pederson I Don Davis do hereby will and bequeath my freckles to Mary Jean Wrlliams and my old English 4 workbook to Doris Zoller Zfwzfofuf The dream of every student in hrgh school IS to become a Senior This dream has finally become a reality for the Class of 1956 The time has approached when the school routine to wluch the class has become so accustomed will come to an end Another graduating class will embark upon an attempt to make its mark in the world Yet as wonderful as graduation may seem there are many other events that are cherished in the memories of the class members As we turn back the hands of time to the Fall of 1952 we see twenty nine eager students begin their first year tn Berthoud High In comparison to the following three years the freshman year was uneventful although we were granted the pleasant Tufts Larry Hertz and Ella Warren left us to enroll in other schools Our class sponsor was Mr Wilbur Ball During our Sophomore year we really began to get mto the swing of things The first big event of the year was Homecoming Mary Lou Velasquez was the Sophomore attendant to the Queen Our Homecomtng float on which we worked very hard won third prize in the parade The class enrollment Jumped to twenty six with the addition of Charlotte Musser Tommie Rose and Gerald Bales to tne class roll Also that year was made more enjoy able by having several parties Our sponsors for the year were Mis Marian Fishburn and Mr Warren Autrey Although our class was small, we played a very prominent part in school affairs during our Junior year Under the direction of Miss Traylor we presented our class play Here Comes Patricia The production was a real thriller Near the end of the year the Junior Senior Banquet was held at the Wayside Inn, Following the banquet everyone adjourned to the gym for the prom, Sea Dream Fantasy Music for the prom was furnished by Jack Hill of Loveland Judy Baller Charles Coleman Eva Templeton and Charlotte Musser left us during the progress of the year Sponsors for the year were Mtss Helen Traylor and Mr Warren Autrey n l li I Y - k yy 1 I ' ' 1 I v ,V I I I ' I I . 1 .
