We got into the swing of things by decorating the float, i'Wright Brothers' First Flight, for Homecoming. Barbara Adler had a chili supper tor the eager workers the last night. Carol Stroh was picked as the Queen attendant. Anxious hands prepared the gym tor this special occasion. Later on, a Progressive Supper was held which was followed by games at Bobetta Haglers home. Mr. Cineo and Mr. Kelly V ce President Seqreygry We may have felt a little fearful when taking the first step into high school, but as weeks passed, we began to feel like a part of the school, The first important event was the Home- coming game and parade, we entered a float, 'Declaration of lndependencef' Mary Steving was our Queen attendant. Joan Schleiger was elected B squad cheerleader and also treas- urer of the Sigma Club. The treasurer of the Stu- dent Council was Norman Deines, the two repre- sentatives were Dorthy Graves and Rex Wykoff. Geraldine Brehm and Norman Deines served as Red Cross representatives. Class reporter was Donna Adler. Many of our class have taken part in sports, vocal music, band, various clubs, and activities of the school. We chose Sail On Though the Secs Be Stormy, as our motto, Red and Gray as our class colors, and the Rose, as our flower. We wish to say thanks to our spon- sors, Miss Yanke and Mr. Dorazio, for helping us during our first year of high school.
