One ofthe most beautiful is Longs Peak. Calm and serene, The Peaks ac- cept all challenges of weather and storm to emerge the victor in the struggle for existence. So we, the students, strive to accept the challenge of life by follow- ing the guided example of The Peaks. aclmlnlstratlon 'Ww- . . . , , ,,, A ' , 'V -rv ' Tv Left to Rght Sealed M s Joseph ne Kyger Treos er W lfred Men ng Pes dent M 5 Ruth H Groube ger Secre ary Stand ng Ma el Bradney Member Dale Scloal Vce Pres dent The school year of 1954 1955 proved To be a memorable one for The Berfhoud Public Schools Reorganazahon was voted and Berfhoud united wufh Whrpple Old Berfhoud Culver and Red Rock Schools A new School Board was elected whrch provnded for represenfafuon from all of The old drsfrlcts The new drsTrrcT was designated by The County Superintendent of Schools Frank Irwin as Dusfrrcf Number R l3 JY Mr and Mrs Coy Mr Cmea Mr Autrey L-1. Joan Schleiger was elected B squad cheerleader and also treas- urer of the Sigma Club. The treasurer of the Stu- dent Council was Norman Deines, the two repre- sentatives were Dorthy Graves and Rex Wykoff. Geraldine Brehm and Norman Deines served as Red Cross representatives. Class reporter was Donna Adler. Many of our class have taken part in sports, vocal music, band, various clubs, and activities of the school. We chose Sail On Though the Secs Be Stormy, as our motto, Red and Gray as our class colors, and the Rose, as our flower. We wish to say thanks to our spon- sors, Miss Yanke and Mr. Dorazio, for helping us during our first year of high school.
