Sponsors ---- Marion Fishburn, Warren Autrey History How many members --------------- 29 Float ---------------- Third Prize Homecoming Queen Attendant ------- Mary Lou Velasquez Freshmen Reception Party ------------- - - Christmas Dance Junior Red Cross Representatives ---- Eva Templeton, Junior Adame Student Council Representatives - Judy Baller, Sharon Schwindt, Bruce Starck There were 26 members of the Sophomore class at the beginning of the l953 54 term Since then we have gained three members namely Tommie Rose Charlotte Musser and Gerald Bales which makes our enrollment 29 The Sophomores decorated a float for the Homecoming parade which won third prize The theme of the float was Winter Time Our Homecoming Queen Attendant was our president Mary Lou Velasquez As has been the custom for a number of years the Sophomores decorated the gymnasium for the Freshman Reception On Monday evening December Zl the class sponsored a Christmas Dance in the gymnasium The music was furnished by Mrs Waggener Mr Autrey played the drums Our Junior Red Cross representatives are Eva Templeton and Junior Adame We are represented in the Student Council by Sharon Schwindt Bruce Starck and our Vice President Judy Baller -23 viii
