FRESHMAN CLASS Presndent Sammy Ramos Vuce Presudent Junior Adame Secretary Leota Adams Treasurer Mabel Stahlecker Student Councnl Mary Lou Velasquez Bruce Starck Junnor Adame Sponsor Mr Ball The Freshman class has twenty nine members ln October we entered a float an the Home comm Parade which won third lace The class Van Roy Bob Vnrgunua Faye and Judy were ap pointed as commuttee members nn charge of the booths ln December the Freshmen had the con cessuons at a basket ball game ln January we had a poluo drvve and collected about S20 Leota Adams was candidate for Valentme Queen FRESHMEN INITIATION The Freshmen unltaatlon was held September 25th There were the usual costumes consnstmg of nnghtgowns barrels football jerseys etc After the parade down town the Sensors began the show Truth or Conse quences was played wnth all the Freshmen havung to pay the Consequences All the Freshmen survlved the barrage of tomatoes and everyone unclud Ing the Freshmen had a good tlme FRESHMEN RECEPTION ln the gym whuch had been very colorfully and beautafully decorated by the Sophomores, 33 Freshmen were honored at an annual receptlon held for them September 26, l952 Musnc was provnded by a jute box and every one had fun dancmg The formals the gurls wore also made quite an array of color A program consnstmg of some numbers from each of the classes was presented Apple Cuder and Cooknes were served by the Jumors The welcome was guven by the Presudent of the Sensor Class, Shurley Schleuger, and the response,from the Freshmen by Sammy Ramos, Presudent . 9 i . . p D also operated two Halloween booths at the carnival.
